In November 2016, BCEC IX completed the carve‐out of 22 mental health assets, to create the newly formed company Elysium.
Elysium operates a portfolio of 66 mental healthcare facilities (22 as part of the original perimeter and 44 acquired / developed since closing) which together form one of the leading independent providers of behavioural health services in the UK.
The company is focused on mental health inpatient services in the UK, specialising in inpatient care for higher risk patients requiring treatment in a secure or controlled-access rehabilitation environment.
