PE Hub: BC Partners leveraged increased demand for increasingly complex IT services to grow Presidio

In April, BC Partners announced the sale of portfolio company Presidio, a leadingprovider of secured cloud-based IT services, to CD&R.

Following this announcement, Fahim Ahmed, BC Partners' Chief Operating Officer spoke to PE Hub about the firm’s investment in Presidio and subsequent exit, how it grew the company and why IT is attractive to PE firms.

"Fundamentally, I think the business really outperformed even our expectations,” Ahmed told PE Hub.
